Assorted Pictures 1:st of March 2018

I have som assorted pictures of the building made today. Just sharing... This pictures is taken from the deck on the backside and shows the door frame, dining room and in the end (or house front) the living room. Most walls are made with light-weight concrete blocks (the white one), but all bathroom walls the small red bricks are used (as always in Thailand). The roof structure is very well made More roof structure Impressive welding. Like art! Again.. The foreman do some work on the roof too. They use a lot of tree.

Roof and Eves

The finishing touch on the roof welding is done and it's time to add the roof eves before the roof tiles can be put on. The eves is made of "conwood",a wood-like fiber concrete material that later will be painted so it will looks like tree. Finishing touch with the black paint. Roof eves

Soon it will look like a house

The work goes on, it start to look like a house. Today the roof tile team was visiting again, they need to measure the roof again so that right amount of roof-tiles will be ordered. I hope they start soon.

Frames almost ready

It took many days to mount the frames, but now they are almost ready. The only one left is the the small window frame in the storage room. All frames are carefully fixed and will get concrete around. The frames will let the windows and doors work without problems for many years - so a lot of time is spent here. These frams will host foldable doors between the back outside area and  the Thai kitchen (left) and dinner area (front).
