Painters are back

Today six painters started to work again on the house. There is a lot to do and they have planned to be ready before August. The house was stripped from the tree, so now it's easier to see the house again. Taking off the tree now when the upper walls has been painted. This is the house color. (not the lower part) Front after starting to take down the tree. Painters start testing different pigments on the tree windows. We cannot use the light tree color due to all the marks in the tree we use. It's reused teak, probably from some old houses. The painters gives good advise on how to make it nice. This is result on the pigment. It will later get many layers of transparent varnish. There is a lot of sanding.... From the guest bedroom The pigment of the varnish looks good (my opinion) Painter working hard.

Painting beams to the parking and fence

A lot of metal beams arrived today. They have to be painted - as usual with the red rust paint and then with the black enamel. Unpainted Paining by dipping them into the red rust protection paint OK, done with the red paint Now they got the black paint on too (this is some days later)

Finishing the parking slab

Today the parking slab was completed, next up will be the roofing.

Gutters

Today some of the workers put up some gutters. It's not their job, but they want to take down the tree used to climb outside the walls, so why not do it anyway.

Inspection with Drone

It's not easy to get a permit to use a drone in Thailand, but it is very useful when inspecting the roof - I think the builder have a permit?!
