The carpenters has arrived

Today the carpenters arrived (man and his wife). They had a brand new milling machine with them, because they knew that some of the tree we have will neeed some more smoothness. They seems very friendly and have good ideas how to make the mounting of windows very beautiful. I like when they help to make things better even if it will take longer time (for same price). They started directly with preparing and mounting the decoration tree between the pillars and roof.

Start of fence

The fence work have started. Here are some pictures.

Some windows and doors

Today we got some of the windows and doors we ordered in December, more of them will be delivered next week. They are made from reused Teak and should last for the lifetime of the house. No glass yet, but that will be added by a local company. One of the good things about teak is that termites and other small insects doesn't like to eat it.

Bought all needed switches and outlets today

We have decided to waste on outlets in the house to avoid all this extension cords everywhere. At the shop we realized that we maybe did the sae with the lamps, because there was a lot of switches needed too. There are Thai, Italian and German brands of these things, we selected Schneider (german), not only because it was german, it was not so big different in price and these looks quite good. The price is not near the prices we pay in Sweden anyway - Everything we needed was summed up to   about 4.500 Bath (1.200 SEK or 140 USD).
