Mid-summer week

Most labors are still working with the fence but we have some new skills on site this week - Painters and wood floor experts. I decided to not show any fence pictures this week, so there will not be so many pictures.

When we had the house ceremony - First pillar of the house. The building was blessed with coins, things and one branch of Sugarcane and one branch of Banana plant. Here you see the result of putting the banana branch into the soil - 3 meter high banana tree.

Painter "scrubbing" in the storage room. No glows.

The are not afraid of highs! Here is a painter under the roof. No security ropes, just flip-flops as security equipment.

First delivery of good quality paint. We will need much more. 

Here is our bamboo source - in the back of the garden. Easy to make fishing rods!


The wood floor experts has arrived. Starting to put the wooden floor into the guest bedroom.

It will be nice when it's ready.

Roof - Part 2

The roof took three days. The put tiles both on the high roof and most part on the lower roof. They decided to wait with the part that is between the big and low part because the plastering work on the high wall could make the tiles very dirty and difficult to clean after. Another solution should have been covering the part, but that was not an option - they are the experts, so it's just to lean back and let them do what they want. Lats and lifting tiles. Arrival of the roof tiles

The roof tiles arrived today at 06.00 in the morning. No pallet, it looked like they have unloaded the truck manually. They delivered over 4000 tiles! One of the three piles of tiles delivered. Some broken due to the bad handling. Lintels in aluminum to hold the roof tiles. More lintels
