Strange floor preparation ??

Even if the big holiday is here now, the man responsible for installation of tiles arrived today. I guess he hates holidays....

Anyway - He managed to get the few workers left on the site to make some preparations on the concrete floor. I have tried to google what they are doing, but I have not found anything about this procedure. Can anyone checking my blog help me to understand what they are doing?

Many bars

Back to work, Today the workers done many rebar "cages" after delivery of materials and a rebar machine. The three cages that was done before was made of 16 mm rebar that was a leftover from their last work. Now the rebar is 12 mm (as planned). Some pictures:

Community water

Perfect timing. The community have started to dig and mount water pipes right outside my fence, so I will get water from both the well and the community = no future water problems!
